This area of open green space with many mature trees runs alongside the River Nidd where you will see a wonderful array of daffodils in the spring. There are small areas of shrub plantings and the cenotaph has seasonal bedding planted round it throughout the year. A walk through the village of Pateley Bridge treats the visitor to a colourful abundance of seasonal bedding.

Facilities

Children's play area and an open green space suitable for children's activities; toilets; a Bowling Green and bandstand where band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons from May through to August.

There is ample car parking within walking distance of the park. Pay & Display opposite in Bewerley Showground.

Opening times
The Recreation Ground is open all year round, 24 hours a day.


Disabled access

Disabled access is via the main entrance, which is over the bridge at the bottom of the High Street. Disabled toilets are nearby.
