National Allotments Week
In August each year, the
National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners promote
'National Allotments Week'. The aim of this is to raise awareness
of allotments and their benefits.
Previous National Allotments Weeks have seen Roadshows in Harrogate which have proved extremely successful in raising awareness and encouraging new plot-holders. They have been sponsored by Ripon Farm Services who have kindly provided a mobile display unit, and Yorkshire Water who have generously provided watering cans.
