Can I attend Commission meetings?
The public can attend all meetings of the main commission,
along with the panel meetings.
Links to the scheduled meetings for the overview and
scrutiny commission and panels are given below. If there
are any agenda papers available, they can be accessed
by selecting the meeting date.
- Overview and Scrutiny Commission- the commission is the main arena for scrutiny at Harrogate Borough Council. It meets on a regular basis and carries out reviews into issues which affect the residents.
- Governance Panel- the Governance panel ensures that the councils financial management is adequate and has a good system of internal control.
- Performance Panel- the Performance Panel manages and monitors performance within the council. This includes using performance indicators and assessing value for money.
- CCfA Panel- This meets to deal with an inidvidual problem raised by a councillor which they have been unable to resolve using other methods.
