HBC Economic Strategy 2010 - 2015

The HBC Economic Strategy 2010 - 2015 was formally approved by Harrogate Borough Council in April.

The Economic Strategy, along with a linked Economic Action Plan to assist with communication about how the strategy will be delivered and monitored, will help the Council to clearly communicate its priorities for the Harrogate district economy to partners and customers.

It is a short to medium term strategy which sets out what Harrogate Borough Council will do to generate wealth, investment and jobs for all residents, across the Harrogate district.

An 'Economic Review' document will also be published at the end of each financial year, to communicate progress made against the six work areas in the strategy. This review document will also provide information about the health of the Harrogate district economy via an agreed set of indicators and statistics.
