Pump Room Museum

Looking for a small event venue?

The Royal Pump Room Museum offers a chance to relax for the evening whilst exploring Harrogate's spa history on the site of Europe's strongest sulphur well.

Enjoy drinks and nibbles whilst finding out about the rich and famous who came to Harrogate to 'take the waters', the town's connection to Russian royalty, what spa treatments entailed and why Charles Dickens called Harrogate 'the queerest place with the strangest people leading the oddest lives!'

You can also book an evening group visit with a member of curatorial staff to allow you to delve deeper into Harrogate's fascinating past.
