Arranging a Pest Control Visit
You can request a one-off pest control treatment (this may involve several visits to complete the treatment), or if you have a persistent pest problem, we can arrange a pest control contract.
1. Request
Phone 0845 300 6091 to request a pest control service. Stating the type and location of the pest.
2. Pay
- Charges are indicated at the time of booking.
- Bookings are only accepted from the person who pays the charge.
- Payment is normally requested at the time of booking. Where payment in advance is not possible arrangements may be made to invoice the customer.
- Service is free to those who are registered disabled or receiving income support.
3. Appointment
A Pest Control Officer will phone to arrange an appointment to visit the property. If the request was received before 9:30 am this might be the same working day. If after 9:30 am the earliest would be the next working day. Usually we aim to make an appointment within 2 working days. But during summer, when pest reports are at their heaviest, the maximum response is 4 working days to make an appointment.
4. Treatment
Treatments will start as soon as possible. During the summer this will be later than during the winter. The Pest Control Officer will advise when they make the appointment.
The treatment, dependant on the nature of the pest, may need between 1 and 4 visits (normally).
Customers are required to give access to the inside of their property, but need not be present if the the treatment is outside (eg, wasps nests).
