Information Centre Achieves A Star Grade Customer Service
 
Pateley Bridge TIC has achieved an outstanding 96% in this year's Yorkshire wide Mystery Shopper exercise, equivalent to a GCSE A Star grade.
 
Organised by Yorkshire Tourist Board, every Tourist Information Centre in Yorkshire receives a personal visit, an email enquiry and up to two telephone calls to assess the quality of customer service visitors to the region can expect.
 
Pateley Bridge TIC's high score places them in the top 20 Visitor Centres in Yorkshire.

The Visitor Service Officer team at Pateley Bridge, was praised by the assessor for being "very thorough and efficient in determining my needs and also particularly quick and efficient in meeting them".

Pateley Bridge TIC 2008

In 2007 Pateley Bridge TIC handled almost 15,000 visitor enquiries, and makes an average of 100 bed bookings per year. With a staff team of 3 the TIC deals with enquiries from across the country from people intending to visit the area. From the local perspective, the most popular destination enquiries are for the Lake District, Scotland and Northumberland.

The Tourist information Centre at 18 High Street, is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to1pm, when a member of the team is always on hand to give information and advice to visitors and local residents.

Opening Times:
From 31 March to 31 October 2008: Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-1pm.
1 November 2008 to 31 March 2009: Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm.
1 April to 31 October 2009: Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-1pm.
Christmas & New Year: Information Centre closed 21 December 2008 to 2 January 2009 (incl). Information Centre re-opens 3rd January 2009.
Closed for 1/2 hour lunch Monday to Saturday where appropriate.
