An exhibition from
Kirklees
Community History Service of photographs of some of the wonders
of Ancient Egypt, taken by Francis Frith during the 19th
century. Francis Frith was a famous Victorian photographer
who travelled around the world taking photographs of tourist
scenes.
Also on show are photographs taken more recently and a display
of beautiful objects from Harrogate's own collection of
Egyptology.
