Land for employment - Plan the Future with us (January 08)

HARROGATE Borough Council is currently preparing a new framework to guide future growth and development in the District up to 2021. As part of this process the Council is seeking your views on land for new employment areas.

Having undertaken an Employment Land Review, the Council has identified its Preferred Site Options:


Harrogate Town
H27(1): Land at Jackland House Farm. A 4hectare site, creating an extension to Cardale Park, with mainly office /light industrial development.
H1004: Harrogate College site at Hornbeam Park. 1.75hectare brown-field site with an opportunity for redevelopment for office/light industrial accommodation H74(1): Dunlopillo site, Pannal.
Re-development of brownfield land to provide approximately 6ha of business park development, with potential for improved Park & Ride facilities.
H107: Land at Station Parade. Office accommodation as part of a mixed-use redevelopment scheme

Knaresborough
K2b: Land adjacent to Manse Farm, York Road. 2-4 hectares of land for light industry development as part of a mixed use urban extension.

Boroughbridge
B12: Farnell Technology Park, Wetherby Road. 2-3 hectares of land for small workshops and office development as part of a larger 6ha mixed use scheme
Pateley Bridge and Masham
P1: Pateley Bridge Highways Depot. 0.66 hectare site of which half could accommodate small workshops.
M1: Masham Auction Mart. 1.04 hectare site of which half would be light industry and commercial use.
