Knaresborough Castle & Museum is now closed for the 2014 season. It will re-open on Wednesday 25th March 2015.
A stronghold of medieval kings and part of the Duchy of Lancaster to this day, Knaresborough Castle stands towering over the River Nidd. Entry to the Castle allows visitors to see the remains of the King's tower, and includes entry into the Courthouse Museum. As well as visiting the Castle and Museum, enjoy the Castle Grounds with a game of Putting or Bowls! Equipment available to hire on an hourly rate from the Museum.
