New to the Area?
The welcome pack is a guide for people who are new to North Yorkshire. It's designed for UK residents and new arrivals into the country.
The guide is available in English, Polish, Czech, Latvian and Lithuanian with another 16 languages to follow soon.
It contains details of national and local services such as:
- leisure and training,
- how to register for work, a doctor or a bank,
- details on transport,
- general information on advice services and community groups.
The pack has been developed and sponsored by the North Yorkshire Strategic Partnership (NYSP) Equalities Task Group.
