We cannot hope to cover all that has happened to date or all that we hope will happen in the future. We would like to think this provides a simple overview.

What is Renaissance Knaresborough?
'Renaissance Knaresborough' is an organisation set up to identify, develop and deliver projects to improve the town of Knaresborough.
From 2006-2010 Renaissance Knaresborough was able to access resources and funding from Yorkshire Forward under their Renaissance Market Towns (RMT) programme. Despite the Yorkshire Forward funding ending, Renaissance Knaresborough continues to develop and support local projects.
Renaissance Knaresborough has a broad membership drawn from local organisations and individuals. Involvement in the work of Renaissance Knaresborough is open to anyone who is enthusiastic and supportive of the town.

- Knaresborough Community and Social Enterprse Centre
- Town Lift to link the riverside with the town centre
