A country park of around 25 acres, popular with wildlife enthusiasts; it differs from many of our district's other parks and gardens as there are no formal planting schemes. The area consists of woodland, heathland and open grass areas.
Killinghall Moor Country Park is a conservation area where local residents and visitors can enjoy the beauty of our native birds and wildlife.
Six football pitches and a pavilion with shower and changing facilities, which also has a small meeting room which is available to hire.
The site provides ample free car parking. Please be aware that the car parks are locked each evening.
Open all year round, 24 hours a day.
Via the main entrance signposted from Jenny Field Drive. Turn left onto Saltergate Drive then left again on to Barberry Close - HG3 2NZ.
Much of the site can be enjoyed from the main footpaths, which can be accessed via the main entrance off Barberry Close.
