Street collections - flag days

You have to apply in writing to our licensing section to hold a street collection in the district.

Permits are usually only given to charities registered with the Charities Commission. You should apply on your charity's headed paper bearing the Commission's registration number. If you're not directly involved with the charity, you should enclose a letter of endorsement from the charity with your own application letter.

Please send all necessary documentation to [email protected] or to Licensing, Harrogate Borough Council, PO Box 787, Harrogate HG1 9RW. You can also call 01423 556843.
