Support for tenants as coronavirus restrictions are lifted
If you live in social housing, the government is writing to you to explain the support available as lockdown is eased.
Annual gas safety checks and services: important information
Despite the current coronavirus pandemic, we have an ongoing legal duty to check and service all gas appliances in the homes we own. Our contractor, Sure Maintenance, is sending out appointment letters in the usual way so inspections can take place.
Anyone visiting your home will follow the government's social distancing instructions. This is to keep you, and the contractor's staff, safe.
If, at the time you receive an appointment letter, someone in your household has symptoms of coronavirus, or they are self-isolating for any reason, please let Sure Maintenance know immediately. Please call 0800 046 1443 (8am to 5pm Monday to Friday) or send an email to [email protected].
Your appointment will be postponed, and you will receive a letter explaining what will happen next.
View your rent account online
If you are a council tenant you can now view your rent account online. You will be able to:
- view your rent statement
- check your balance and pay your rent
- contact us and tell us of a change
Your account details are held securely, so to access them you will need to register or sign in to your My Harrogate account. Once you are signed in, go to the My accounts tab to add access to your rent account. You will need your rent reference number which you will find on your rent statement.
