This is our emergency alarm and monitoring service which helps people continue to live independently in their own home, providing reassurance that help is available, 24 hours a day, if they need it, whatever their disability or support need.

It's available to anyone - council tenants, homeowners or those renting privately.

We provide and install a lifeline unit, which plugs into your home telephone point, and a personal alarm pendant that's worn around the neck, clipped onto clothing or worn on a wrist strap. We can also fit linked sensors such as smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors.

If you have an emergency or problem, the team of professional, friendly staff at the call centre answer the call. They automatically know who you are, where you live and will make sure the right help is sent to you.

The service includes monthly welfare contact by one of our Independent Living Officers, usually a home visit but occasionally a telephone call, as well as a local emergency response 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

There's a weekly charge for the service which can be paid by monthly direct debit.
