Some enter the Yorkshire in Bloom or Britain in Bloom competitions and some don't.

Brighter Boroughbridge and district
Reformed in 2012, this small group entered Yorkshire in Bloom in 2015 in the It's your Neighbourhood category and received a Thriving award. They've recently been working to improve a nature area in Chatsworth Grove. (Small town category).

Darley in Bloom
A large and very successful group regularly achieving gold standard in any competition. Darley have been national, champion of champions and Entente Florale winners in recent years. Darley in Bloom doesn't compete at present. (Large village category).

Hampsthwaite in Bloom
A successful group run by a small committee with many local supporters. They currently don't enter Yorkshire in Bloom. (Large village category).

Harrogate in Bloom
A very successful group with only a small committee. They always enter the competition and have previously been winners locally, nationally and in Europe. The group are always looking for new members. In 2015, Harrogate achieved a gold award and were category winners in Yorkshire in Bloom. (Large town/small city category).

Kirkby Malzeard in Bloom
A small but determined group which always enters Yorkshire in Bloom and ensures the village is maintained to high standards. In 2015, Kirkby Malzeard achieved a gold in Yorkshire in Bloom. They were also joint category winner. (Village category).

Knaresborough in Bloom
A successful and enthusiastic group, always looking for new members and striving for the best. The group always enter the competitions. In 2014, Knaresborough achieved a gold award and category winner in Yorkshire in Bloom. In 2015, they represented Yorkshire in the Britain in Bloom competition achieving a gold award. (Small town category).

Ripon in Bloom
This enthusiastic group has grown in size and over the last few years has entered the competitions again, with great success. The group always maintains the city to a high standard with floral adornments, clearance areas and promotional events. In 2013, they represented Yorkshire in the national Britain in Bloom competition achieving a silver. They chose not to enter in 2015. (Large town category)

Sawley in Bloom
A small but keen and enthusiastic group currently don't enter the competition. (Small village category).

Spofforth with Stockeld in Bloom
A very enthusiastic group who always enter the competition and look forward to producing results and welcoming new members. In 2014, Spofforth achieved a gold award and were category winners in Yorkshire in Bloom. In 2015, they represented Yorkshire in the Britain in Bloom competition and achieved a gold award and were category winners. (Village category)

Starbeck in Bloom
A very successful group always achieving top results and happy to meet new people keen to improve Starbeck. In 2015, they are entered Yorkshire in Bloom and won a gold award. (Urban community category).
