THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate District is now closed for applications

THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate District is an innovative approach to creating a local, long term sustainable fund to support charitable activity in Harrogate district.

In this first funding round, grants are available of between £200 and £3,000.

Priority will be given to applicants that can clearly demonstrate how they are working to address the following themes identified in the Two Ridings Community Foundation's vital signs report for the Harrogate district

  • inequality and hidden poverty
  • mental health and wellbeing
  • loneliness and social isolation

Grants are targeted at small charities and community groups where a small amount of money can make a significant difference. Applicants must be based in and/or working in the area served by Harrogate Borough Council.

The closing date for this round of grant applications was 4 June 2018.
