Performance indicators
The council manages the delivery of the Corporate Plan and Corporate Health performance on a quarterly basis via its performance management information system (Covalent). Performance is reported to Management Team, Scrutiny and Cabinet.

Statement of accounts
Each year the statement of accounts is formally examined by external auditors. They give their opinion on the accounts by way of an audit letter.

Statement of pay policy: Sections 38 - 43 of the Localism Act 2011 require that the authority produce a policy statement that covers a number of matters concerning the pay of the authority's staff, principally Chief Officers.
