Who better to show you our wonderful collection of cartoons by HP Templar than Harrogate historian Malcolm Neesam? Templar's drawings, which depict the daily routines of visitors to Harrogate in the 1890s, are packed with interesting details and comic observations of the busy spa town in its heyday.

Professor Joann Fletcher explores the links between ancient Egypt and Yorkshire from Roman times to the 21st century, featuring the results of new research obtained from museums around Yorkshire including Harrogate's own very special Egyptology collection.

Face painting £2

Decorate a pharaoh's mask, create beaded jewellery and make a lucky Eye of Horus talisman. Then have your face painted and dress up in Ancient Egyptian costume to really look the part!
