Application 1 to 10 horses - application fee £180.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £81.00
Application 11 to 20 horses - application fee £210.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £98.00
Application 21 or more horses - application fee £227.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £115.00
Renewal 1 to 10 horses - application fee £189.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £64.00
Renewal 11 to 20 horses - application fee £206.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £81.00
Renewal 21 or more horses - application fee £240.00 / ongoing administration and enforcement £85.00

Veterinary inspection Actual cost of previous year's inspection plus inflation
New applicants (vet fee) - application fee £426.00
We will arrange, at your cost, for a vet to inspect the horses and premises to ensure the welfare of the animals and to check that the accommodation is suitable. If successful, you should receive the licence within 60 days. It will expire on the December 31.
This means that you'll be able to act as though your application is granted if you haven't heard from us by the end of the 28-day target period. Tacit consent will only apply once a full application has been submitted and you've received an acknowledgment.
