Pay for your garden waste subscription

This year we have held the price of a garden waste licence at £39.

You will receive 19 fortnightly collections from mid-March until the end of November 2019 (great value at around £2 per collection).

The licence covers one garden waste wheelie bin (or the equivalent number of reusable sacks for properties with restricted access). If you wish to have additional bins (or sacks) you will need to pay for additional licences for each. If you wish to share with a neighbour you will need to pay for one licence, registered and collected at one address. Please decide who registers and subscribe in the same way.

The quickest and easiest way to pay for your subscription is online. If you don't already have one you will need to set up a My Harrogate account with us (which only takes a few minutes). To subscribe simply sign into your account and complete our online subscription form (please have your debit/ credit card ready).

To help make it easier to re-subscribe each year there is now a direct debit payment option which you can choose to set up when paying if you wish to do so.

Once you have subscribed your licence pack will be sent to you within 14 days of payment being taken from your bank. The pack will include the licence tag, a confirmation letter confirming your garden waste collection day and the terms and conditions. The licence is only valid for the property where it was registered and is non-transferable.

The same licence cost applies to village halls, places of religious worship and charities. There are no exemptions or concessions and we can't offer refunds.

If you need a new, replacement or additional bin or bag please request one by completing our enquiries form below.
