Current tenants of affordable housing (including council tenants) can apply to mutually exchange (swap) their homes with other affordable housing tenants anywhere in the country, subject to approval by their landlord.
All mutual exchanges are managed by our partner HomeSwapper. This service matches you with other tenants who are also interested in mutual exchanges. If you're one of our tenants, you can use HomeSwapper free of charge, but, if not, you may have to pay.
Using the service is simple. All you need to do is:
- visit the HomeSwapper website or download the free app to register
- enter the details of your current home and the home you want
- await our approval
- see your possible swaps and contact any that you're interested in
