Harrogate Borough Council is pleased to offer funded childcare entitlement for three and four-year-olds at Coppice Valley Day Nursery from September.
Funding, provided by North Yorkshire County Council, allows working parents the option of claiming up to 30 hours childcare funding per week during term time or 1,140 hours spread across the year.
Located on Jenny Field Drive in Harrogate, Coppice Valley Day Nursery is open from 8am to 6pm and enables parents who want to work, or would like to work more hours, the opportunity to do so.
Children who attend the nursery enjoy different indoor and outdoor activities including arts and crafts, dancing, singing and stories all within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Following a recent Ofsted rating of 'Good' (May 2015), it also gives parents the reassurance that their child is getting a high-quality start to their educational journey.
Councillor Stanley Lumley, Harrogate Borough Council's cabinet member for culture, tourism and sport, said:
"Coppice Valley Day Nursery has recently seen changes to modernise the facilities, making it a superb facility to offer a high level of early year’s education in a unique natural learning environment.
"The team create outstanding opportunities for the children to enrich their early year's journey and by offering this funded childcare, through North Yorkshire County Council, we aim to make it more accessible to all."
