Parking charges reintroduced

You must pay to use our car parks. Charges and enforcement resumed on 15 June.

All off-street car parks are open. Our multi-storey car parks have reduced opening times of 8am to 6pm, every day.

Shopmobility, and the bridge link in Victoria car park in Harrogate are closed. There are no toilet facilities in Victoria or Jubilee car parks.

Social distancing measures are in place in all three multi-storey car parks. Please follow the signage and one-way system. For your own safety, please pay for your parking using contactless cards or our Appy Parking app which is available in Harrogate town centre.

NHS and critical care staff, coronavirus volunteers and social care workers will still benefit from free parking on and off street. This is a nationally recognised scheme and permits can only be issued by the worker's employer. Permits must be displayed at all times.

For more information about on-street parking, please refer to the North Yorkshire County Council website.

AppyParking

Parking in Harrogate town centre has become easier thanks to the launch of AppyParking - a smart parking system that is the first of its kind in the UK.

Users who download the app via App Store or Google Play will see real-time availability of spaces across Harrogate town centre, be able to navigate to the space and pay for a parking session with a single-click.
