Every year we consult with local residents and businesses about our spending plans.

It's crucial we involve local residents, businesses and stakeholders in the budget-setting process. It's also good practice and our constitution says we will.

Our consultation takes place online, we circulate paper questionnaires and we seek the views of our 850-strong district panel of residents. We also ask for comments from a range of stakeholders including parish and town councils, the voluntary and community sector, local businesses and our external partner organisations.
