Open all year round, this area of open green space with many mature trees runs alongside the River Nidd, where you'll see a wonderful array of daffodils in spring. There are small areas of shrub plantings and the cenotaph has seasonal bedding planted round it throughout the year.
Bands perform in the bandstand on some Sunday afternoons from May to August. Please visit the band concerts page for details.

Visitor information
The recreation ground is on the B6265 between Bewerley and Pateley Bridge, HG3 5HQ.
Disabled access is via the main entrance. Disabled toilets are to the right of the main entrance. There are tarmac footpaths to the play area and bowling green, as well as alongside the river.
