Ripon neighbourhood planning referendum
Communities can prepare neighbourhood plans to influence the future of their areas. These allow communities to set out their vision for their local area and general planning policies to guide development in their neighbourhood. Before a neighbourhood plan can be accepted, a referendum must be held in the area.
The neighbourhood plan for the Ripon area has been examined and the council's cabinet has resolved that the neighbourhood plan should proceed to referendum. The referendum took place on 14 February 2019.
The council's decision notice and the examiner's report can be viewed on the Ripon neighbourhood plan page.
